Another narrow victory!

We won our third match of the season in the Croquet South-East Golf Croquet Handicap league, winning 5-4 away to Bromley A on 13 July.
The opening round of two doubles was shared, with Peter Player & Robert Hassell recording a win in their game.
We then secured three wins in singles games in the second round, with wins for Kate Sander, Peter and Robert to leave us leading 4-2 overall at the lunch break.
In the afternoon, Dave Grimshaw & Peter lost their doubles game and Kate lost her singles game, leaving the match tied at 4-4 with the result hinging on the final singles match. Fortunately (for us!), Robert prevailed, completing a personal clean sweep on the day, to achieve a 5-4 win for Tunbridge Wells overall.
