Thomas Cullis most improved player (again!)

This year two players have stood out in their improvement – Thomas Cullis and Phil Taylor. Thanks to an in-depth analysis by John Greenwood, including consulting the oracle of AI, it had been agreed that Thomas should be awarded the John Hobbs trophy. However it should be noted that Phil was hot on his heels and has room for improvement in the future.
Thomas has had a phenomenal year and is now ranked 36 in the UK. His season was capped with winning the Chairman’s Salver in the Eights at Cheltenham. His improvement can be seen from this chart taken from the croquet rankings website.
Meanwhile, despite taking on the arduous role of Honorary Secretary for our club, Phil Taylor has also managed a tremendous improvement, and it was agreed he should be highly commended.
