Disappointing result at SECF Golf Teams Day

In the Doubles event on 5th August at Southwick our teams came 20th and 21st our of 22 teams (our overall score was 1 win and 7 losses).
In the Singles we did a little better coming 13th and 19th (10 wins and 14 losses).

Our inexperienced team did as well as could be expected. Our star performer was Richard Mann, who won all his singles and halved his doubles with Kate Sander.

Well done to first-timer Beverley Brown who took Derek’s place in the first singles and won easily, using her bisques well.

An enjoyable day for all with Jeremy Forty also having his first experience of tournament play.
