Convincing victory at home to Ramsgate

Following a heavy defeat at Sydenham the previous week, we recorded a convincing victory at home to Ramsgate in the Croquet South-East Golf Croquet Handicap league on Monday 15 July.

Pairs of Kate Sander with David Pratt and Derek Owens with Dave Grimshaw both recorded wins in the opening round. Further wins for Kate, David and Dave followed in the singles, in round 2, meaning we had an unassailable lead before the lunch break.

David recorded another singles victory, together with a narrow doubles win for Kate and Derek, in round 3, to complete a 7-2 win overall
