National Croquet Week

National Croquet Week is an annual event around the country organised by individual clubs, but co-ordinated by Croquet England.

We organise an open day on a Sunday to let visitors try one of the two variants of the game free of charge, in addition to running a number of fun events.

Light refreshments are being served free of charge – all are welcome (aged 9 to 90)!

The elements of Golf Croquet can be learnt in 10 minutes and it can be played by men and women of all ages.

If you want to know more about croquet, we’ve just the thing for you. A one-day Introduction to Croquet Course will run at a cost of just £30 in April and May. Additional dates will be added as required. No previous experience is necessary.

Our experienced coaches will teach you both Golf Croquet and Association Croquet (the traditional game with snooker-like breaks). All equipment will be provided, but please wear flat soled shoes.

To register or for more information see the Intro Course page.

If you can’t make one of these Course dates we’ve got fun and free taster sessions on one of our Open Days, the first Sundays in May, June, July and August, 2-5pm.
