GC Level League v Woking lost 1-6

Outclassed by a team including  -4 and a -3 handicappers, near to world-class, (all our players were three handicap steps higher than the Woking equivalent)  we lost all three matches in the morning, despite winning one of the Doubles game and Lister Fielding one also.

The afternoon was marginally better with three games wins, two of these scored by Jon Diamond who beat the low handicapper Jeff Dawson. An excellent personal result, but this only made a marginal difference to the overall defeat.
