SECF league match v Purley Bury – lost 1:5

We played our first AC B league match yesterday away at Purley Bury.  The weather was glorious, the result not so!

The team of Barney Lewis, Jack Ingle and me lost 1-5 with only Barney winning his singles match.  The results were quite close, although not in our favour!

The revised system seemed to work quite well with everyone having bisques, but nonetheless each 14 point match went to the full 90 minutes.
