Robert Alexander wins Kent Cup
Robert Alexander won the Kent Cup being held at Ramsgate in a masterful display, winning the final against Adam Newbould in two straight games +25, +24.
The Ramsgate hospitality was excellent as usual and Trevor Longman was an exemplary manager.
Unfortunately although the rest of the country was warm and sunny a chilly breeze dropped the temperature to about 11 degrees, but the sun shined for most of the day..
Trevor announced that, after 5 or 6 years, Ramsgate would be giving up running the Kent Cup, so Tunbridge Wells volunteered to take it on for 2027.
